Virtual Jaguar is a powerful and highly compatible emulator of the Atari Jaguar. It is still being worked on to this day and improves all the time. It's actually so good we use it for much of our development and testing, in turn we're also some of the most punnishing VJ testers and feature-requesters there are :D

The hardware requirements for running VJ at 100% are constantly lowering and as hardware is constantly improving, we've found ourselves in a comfortable position where an affordable desktop PC can do the business.

LinkoVitch and Shamus have taken over GGN's plans to have auto-builds of VJ for windows, so if you want the hottest of hottest DLL-free versions for windows, take a visit to their VJ builds bunker. Grab the latest official releases at the Virtual Jaguar Site.

Be warned, though... these 'unofficial' builds can also introduce problems or issues you might not be expecting - best to keep your good working set-up as a fail-safe.

JOYPADS

VJ now supports joypads, just connect you pad before running VJ and configure the keys in the usual way.
